2021 Virtual Dialogue on China-Africa Leadership Building Experience Successfully Held
On May 20, 2021, "2021 Virtual Dialogue on China-Africa Leadership Building Experience" co-hosted by the Department of International Cooperation of Party School of the CPC Central Committee, the African Union Permanent Mission to China,and the Institute of African Studies at Zhejiang Normal University was successfully held. The seminar was chaired by Li Dewei, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Department of Party School of the CPC Central Committee. More than 40 delegates and students from China and Africa participated in this event.
This seminar fully affirmed the reference significance of China's governance experience to the leadership building of African countries, the rich achievements and experience of the African Union in promoting the leadership building of its member states, as well as the profound significance of strengthening China-Africa governance exchanges.
From different perspectives, China-Africa scholars and distinguished guests made some discussions on the core leadership of the communist party of China and its promotion approaches, China-Africa governing experience exchange, promoting African leadership construction experience by AU, improving global poverty reduction and promoting democracy in international relations as well as the African continent leadership building under China-Africa cooperation. These high-level speeches and interactive exchanges reflect both theoretical thinking and practical policy introductions and achievements, which fully demonstrated the continued concern and good vision of Chinese and African scholars for China-Africa cooperation and exchanges.
